It's always something

The largest AND highest window in the house failed. The window company replaced the glass for free.....but......replacing it was more than a little challenging. However, with lots of scaffolding and a crew of 4, we finally got it off our list.

That guy is on a ladder on top of scaffolding. Yikes!

Here they are getting the new glass into place. It was nerve wracking!

Hiking!

We finally got Adele out in her new backpack a couple of weeks ago. To say she loved it would be an understatement. She screamed in delight for at least the first 15 minutes. What a relief to see how much she loves to go outside. It is one of her favorite things to do.

Soooo far behind

The last six weeks have been remarkable. We have accomplished so many things and checked a lot of stuff off our list. Unfortunately, the blog suffered, but I'm back!

First and foremost, you must check out this video of Adele. It was taken over Memorial weekend, so she was just about 7 months old:

Here's another of her playing a game. This was about a month ago. I must admit, I was a bit surprised to realize that she knew what I was saying and she knew how to play along. Another huge milestone.

Once the snow finally melted, we were able to stop walking on the road and start walking through the woods. Here we are in a meadow by a stream. We take the jogging strolling across country over rocks and logs. Sometimes, Adele even falls asleep!

And, finally, here she is on her new swing. This was taken on Father's Day

Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep

Jeff saw this pack of Rams on his way to work in early June. Here they are gathering
They would take turns and one by one ram each other with their horns. It was a "king of the hill" type scenario and apparently, quite loud!

It's still snowing

It's still snowing up here, just about every night this week in fact. Last night we had a bear visitor. We didn't actually see it, just the tracks.

First Mother's Day!

We went to my parents' house for my first Mother's Day. It was a gorgeous afternoon.

Here Auntie Di feeds Adele.
