Here is Charlie asleep on the changing table. He's using as his pillow the changing pad cover I was planning to use.

My due date is only two days away! I went to work yesterday and plan to go in Monday (I'm scheduled to give a presentation). After Monday, that's it. I won't be going back for a while. We're scheduled to go into the hospital on Wednesday night (Halloween!) to begin the first step of inducing labor. Next week at this time, we'll have a baby. Wow.


Here I am this morning.

Today is my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday Dad! I tried to suggest to the baby that it might be a good idea to be born today on your birthday, but clearly, she didn't get the message.

38 and 1/2 weeks

I'm 38 and 1/2 weeks pregnant and it still doesn't really seem real, but I guess I'll be having a baby any day. I took a cue from my friend Dani who just had twins and started a blog. I need to find a picture of myself to post.

I'm still working and very grateful for that. Jeff took this week off to work on the house and get things ready for the baby. We are so excited to meet her, we can hardly wait. She appears to have her dad's appetite; I can't seem to eat enough for the both of us!

I think we have everything we need for the baby.....and much much more! I just need to do some laundry so she has something to wear home from the hospital.
